Truth: I love newborn babies. Especially when it’s the first born. There’s something so intimately sweet about being around a new mom and dad trying to muddle their way through that first month. The tired yet never ending incredulous gaze, hours spent marveling at their tiny new human and the absolute flip you upside down change that’s just happened to two people – I love it, it feeds my heart.
At my old company, I worked side by side with Christina throughout the entirety of her pregnancy. Picking out 1 month outfits, planning her hospital stay, carefully selecting furnishings for the nursery – it felt like a sister bond and I found myself counting down the days until Olivia was due. I’m happy that Christina & Matt decided to do newborn photos in their home. It’s such a special time and that first month goes by so quickly. Here are the images from our session!
