Spring shooting at the lovely Matthaei Botanical Gardens is always a treat. The daffodils and tulips were out in their brilliant colors, serving as the perfect backdrop for a Sunday morning family session. When photographing families with toddlers, I try to set up the appropriate expectation that anything can and will happen! Patience is always the key as well as a relaxed and flexible attitude. I visited this Dearborn family for the second time to photograph Griffin as he reached the 6 month mark! It's so amazing to watch them grow! We had a wonderful time and captured some sweet moments. Get ready to say "awwww!".

My near and dear friends recently welcomed their first child into the world and she is so precious and sweet. I was fortunate enough to spend an afternoon with them last Saturday and we captured some amazing moments.
