I think the Wallace family is one of Ypsilanti’s favorite families. Husband/wife team Ryan and Bekah help run Cultivate Coffee & Taphouse, a non-profit cafe and event space in Ypsilanti, MI committed to ending hunger. If you’ve ever been there, you’ve probably been greeted by Bekah, who is quick to offer up a warm smile and a bit of conversation to anyone who walks through the door. I instantly loved her friendly, inviting personality and we quickly realized that we lived in the same neighborhood. Their daughter Hannah, is also a staple at Cultivate, her head of blonde, curly hair instantly recognizable as she’s often found perched on a stool at the coffee bar watching her parents as they work. I thought it would be fun to offer them a mini-session at their home & so we spent an hour together on a cold [really cold!] January morning. Here are a few of my favorite images from their session.
